what do you prefer long drives or short drives

I drive 25 miles, one way to work, 5 days a week. That is, pretty much, the longest trip that I can stand, and I hate it. I am a nervous wreck, if I have to go any farther. If I could keep from traveling very far, I would. It would be rare for me to go farther than my nearest store, which is only 5 miles, if I could keep from it.
