This is my favourite book.When mention it,i almost can not stop speaking.It conbine romantic element and historical element,vivid and interesting. I have read it several times and every time i will have new gain and idea about somebody and something.So i would like to discuss something about it.First let us begin with the topic:which character is your favorite?Come on,my friends,join in!

I am not one for reading but I did enjoy the Movie but not as much as a very similar movie called "Raintree Country" it has a very similar story line it has Elizebeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift in it, it is a lovely movie.

havent read the book but saw the movie. it was great! cant say nothing bad about it and cant speak enough of it. hehehe... the characters that i liked was rhett butler and scarlett. but if i have to choose 1 i pick scarlett. why? because i think shes an amazing character. shes feminine and 'cutesie, cutsie' but deep down shes loyal to her family, smart, inventive, resourceful. she knows how to stand on her own two feet and most of all shes a strong woman. like what rhet said shes 'elfish and shrewd, but able to look things in the eyes as they call them by their right names'... lol.. so cool :)

my favoruite book is the red build (HONG LOU MENG). the writer is Cao Xueqin. he is a famous QIng dynasty writer. he was born in a very rich family. and when he grow up, his family went to ruin. i like the heroine in the book. her character is very nice. her name is Xue Baochai.
