I had a trial in broward county traffic court "pro se".I was involed in an accident.Sheiff came issued a ticket for failed to obey stop sign.Person in other car in court stated never saw me.I made motion to dismiss. There was no witness.I never testify.Judge Schiff found me guilty. How?(lack of evidence).I filed an appeal.Filed for transcript, there was no tape,no prosecuting attorney. Its posted and gives the impression of being recorded, not stated in judges opening about not being tape or it defendant job to bring a recoder.State failed to protect my right and judge keeping just about no notes.I made a motion in my appeal to reconstruct and granted.Hearing just took place. I could not reconstruct as odered for judge schiff denied continuance, denied subpoena for states witnesse and officer and stated testimony of the state's witness and officer at trial cannot be reconstruted. It should be the states job to get thier witnesses not mine. They were ordered to reconstruct not me.I did bring a court reporter for my transcript at hearing also a one time attorney to protect my rights.I could use help.I don't have the money to change a broken one way system. Please help for all defendants be able to get a transcript, weather civil or traffic.Yes the person requsting pays for it.I'am not good writting send/call bartman1@bellsouth.net or 561-790-3344 thank you
