I was just lazy and was not in a mood to get into laborious preparation of sweets. I decided to just condense 'Milkmaid 'further and with addition of almonds, pistachios and cashews ,and powdered sugar I thought it can be made into 'Dry Fruit Delight'. This was my plan but the condensed milk demanded my undivided attention and had decided to punish me if I just left it for one fourth of a minute, without stirring it.I saw dark brown patches of semi milky sugary solids floating on the concoction and just panicked. I tossed it into a mixie and ground it. I had to mend the situation. I fried some all purpose flour in ghee and stirred the mixture with this and added the said dry fruits. Wow! The result was amazing. What sweets did you make this Diwali? Did you have some interesting experiences? Please do share your thoughts.

I love dried fruits and nuts in my sweets. That's great that you were able to save it and not have the nuts and other ingredients go to waste.
