Woman bites off man's lip

I just read this news story that I found interesting. It can be found here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071108/ap_on_fe_st/severed_lip Essentially a woman was kissing her boyfriend, and out of nowhere she bit off his lip. The doctors were unable to reattach it, so the man will be disfigured. What do you think her punishment should be? Do you think the bail they set in this case was appropriate?

That is a horrible thing to have happen I hope the judge puts her in counseling and has her do some jail time.

Counseling is definately a good idea. I would love to hear what this woman was thinking!

That's funny... maybe she loves her boyfriend's lip too much? I don't know what punishment should be given for that? Maybe she just needs psychological treatment?

What an odd, disturbing story! I honestly have NO idea what her charge and punishment should be. This is just so...unusual to me! But I do think it is awful what happened to the man! The pain...oh my gosh I can not even imagine how much that hurt!
