I am pissed that i can't even start this discussion. Well, I started this day with a smile on my face when i woke up early this morning. I went to my work still feeling ok untill this incident happened. I happen to have a new computer (at work) so what i did was i transfered all my files from my old PC to the network, so now all my files can easily be accessed by anyone, including those who should not be allowed to peek from my files. Yesterday i've told my superior to access the file from the other network location other than that of which where i have transferred my original files, in short i've told him to please just open the copy file and not the original file, well the reason is that i want to protect my files from them, because it's too accessible from them and they might do something stupid to it. So he agreed. Just a while ago our general manager told me to do the payables, well as a good employee i have to do what i've been told so i opened my files, but to my surprise, the file can't be accessed through my computer because someone else has opened it and has not yet closed it. I am pissed that my superior did not care of what i've asked him yesterday. Is that to much to ask? I am very pissed because even though i have already told him that he should not open that file, he still did. Why on earth would you still do things that you're told not to do? Was it hard for a person just to obey when it's right and to object when it's wrong? I am really pissed and I am still angry untill now!

as a saying goes, curiousity kills a cat...maybe your superior became curious because you told him first hand that he should not open the file. you know sometimes people are like that..they do what is not allowed. wait are you sure its your superior who did it? im not insinuating something but there are alot of people with you in the office right?

yeah, am sure about that, the PC prompted me that the file can't be accessed because it's already opened by him. Well, maybe he really got curious about the file but, there's nothing to be curious about that file, because i've already told him that the copy file is also updated and accessible. Well, i'll just give him a second chance.
