Generally the quality of traffic from traffic exchanges is very low - it's just people surfing your site so others will visit theirs. However, if you have some compelling content, some of the hits from traffic exchanges can be turned into regular readers. I used them when I first started out and gained a few loyal readers. Traffic from traffic exchange will be a waste of time, if you can't maximize its full potential. I am using traffic exchange, it has uplift my ranking in alexa. It all depends on how you use it. Thanks.

I haven't had any luck with mine either, but that is not to say that they absolutely wouldn't work. I think it depends on what you are trying to get people to see. If you have something unique and the type of people that are interested in that item are the same type that would be at a traffic exchange site, then it might not be such a bad idea.
