a very sore subject to discuss in this country of ours but it needs to be addressed in a more serious fashion than it is in Washington, they are installing fences along the border to keep illegals out of this country, what a joke that is, the fence they are putting up along some of the border is 13 ft tall , what they dont have 15 ft ladders people can buy in Mexico. Lets get real people in the Government and do the responsible thing, make them citizens of the USA if they want to stay and work here or remove , make ones that want to be here pay taxes, social security, and make them abide by all laws and regulations the rest of us in America have to each and everyday of our lives.

Even though it's not a popular idea I agree with full amnesty and citizenship. We should make every illegal alien a full citizen. I don't care that there are ten to twenty million Mexican Nationals here illegaly! What I DO care about is the fact we don't know who they are, where they are, what they're doing, or how much (or little) they're being paid! As long as they register, we should give full amnesty and citizenship to anyone that wants it. Then we could actually concentrate on those evading the law, the true lawbreakers and terrorists. I fthey were truely serious about "homeland security" this would have been done IMMEDIATELY after the September 11th, 2001 attacks! But they aren't going to do this and here's why ... there is a HUGE underground cheap labor market exploiting these people. Do you really think corporations and filthy rich individuals are going to give up paying illegals 50 cents an hour when they would have to pay a legitimate employee 20 times that amount for the same job? Thay don't give a damn about you and your childrens safety or security in Washington! They only care about their wallets and the wallets of their friends that put them there, the very same people running this illegal labor market. Don't blame the illegals, they are as much victims in this as the rest of us. Place the blame where it belongs, on the politicians and the people that own them! It's not just the politicians in the United States either, the corrupt politicians and corporations in Mexico are as much or more to blame for causing disparity.

Certainly government has a pathetic performance in the illegal immigration. But ethinic discrimination is another problem which should be got rid of ASAP. Otherwise even the legal immigrant can't get along with local people, how can the illegal ones be treated well? Once treated unfair and badly, fight back or breaking law may happen.
