Images for web pages

I am learning to create my own web site. Since I am quite new to this, I’m using easy-to-use web design software. I have noticed that many web sites have some really cool logos, icons, etc. It’s easy to just click, save these images to my system and then use them on my web pages. I would like to create images on my own. I have Adobe Photoshop installed on my computer. Could you tell how I can use it to create some images for my web site?

well it depends what kind if images you want. if you want graphic type images then you can make them. for that photoshop and illustrator are good softwares. but if you need real life images then i dnt think you can make them. to the most you can edit them. i am a website designer. if you have any more doubts you can contact me throught my website
