A proposed budget from our state & city officials to help the local Chamber

As pres. of the chamber of commerce we are in desperate need of a computer,printer/scanner, telephone hook up and offordability to pay an individual to work at least 6hrs a day three days a week. Our Chamber has always been on the quite side but this year we have been in full force working with the city officials and businesses with hopes of having a better city but without funds that's going to be difficult. So I need help with a proposal - Linda Jones, Pres.

A proposal to the city goverment for more money?
I have come from a small town with no alot of money in the city goverment to support the Chamber. What they did is start with a Chamber list to the buiness to join for a very small fee..other things they did to help with cost of running it was to fund events in the town to help pay for the cost. I hope this help you some and would be happy to talk more about this with you.
