What do you tell a friend that just lost a baby?

If you have a friend that had a miscarriage, what do you say to them to make them feel better?

Just let them know that you will be there for them whenever they need you. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you want someone to say to you? What would you not want someone to say? But don't say that. Just be supportive and let them know you will listen to them if they need it. People grieve in different ways. Some people like to be left alone and some need to have others around them. Just follow your friend's cues and respect her privacy. She will let you know what she needs.
