I am sick. And i hate it when I am sick. I am not the type who drinks medicine. I would try to stretch my immune system's capacity to the max. Instead of medicine, I would drink lots of fluid. Anyways, last night, I was bit disheartened because of colds, I can't properly breath nor smell a thing, which is stressing me now. Do you know of natural remedy for this kind of communicable diseases. Like for example, spicy food tend to decongest those clogged noses (i've tried, but I can only take spicy food for limited doses). What are indigenous medicinal practice your country has?

Hi Bong, it's been 2 days since I have been drinking water with empty stomach in the morning. It's helping me with my "tummy" movements. I still have colds, but i believe im getting better. :) Thank you so much.

Hey... In our house we usually make up a drink, consisting of lemon juice, tsp honey, 2 garlic cloves and hot boiled water... We find this is way better then spending cash on visiting doctors...

For colds, well there are those natural treatments for them like fruits which are rich in Vitamin C. From our calamansi, to those pomelos and oranges. Drinking water will also help you, but it'll not change your condition. The best thing is treat and prevent them, take ascorbic acid which will help supplement your body's needs of natural juices.

I have been drinking lots of fluids and fruit juices. And I'm still sick. Hahaha. I know these juices will boost my immune system. I just want to get well ASAP. Sigh. Patience is a virtue, and perhaps, I have been abusing my body that's why it's affecting my health. :)

Homemade chicken soup.Another one is course ground horseradish sauce. It does not take much of the latter. I do take echinacea as soon as I feel a sickness coming on. My sicknesses usually don't get as severe or last a slong.

Put peppermint in a small pan on the stove and let it boil. Breathe in the steam from it and I have always heard that it would clear a clogged nose. I have never tried it as I always use Vicks Vapor rub. I have a wonderful idea for a sore throat and a cough too. If you would like them, let me know.
