what's the best advice anyone has every given you?

I'm rather impulsive, and the one thing that always come into mind when making descisions is the advice my boyfriend gave me. he would always,(and i mean always), remind me to think before you act. althoug i rarely live by those words, there have been times when his faint whispers of this words saved me from making a horrible mistake.
