Google Earth

I have just started looking at a site called Google Earth.It has amazing bird's eye type views over the world. It is interesting to look for where you live by putting your road, area and country into the search engine. You can zoom in quite close to your home. Some people may even see their car outside their house. There are blue dots sometimes and if you click one you see a photo. It is such fun to visit many different places in the world.
Have you discovered Google Earth yet?
If so what do you think about it?

Hi, I just downloaded it, and it's really a lot of fun, I looked at our house, and then went on a little trip to Texas, to see my parent's house. It's really a lot of fun and not only that, I can use it in association with my work, wildland firefighter, it will be great to see the terrain we are up against and any nearby buildings etc.

It is wonderful that you have found it to download. Yes, it is so much fun to find people's houses. I found my mum's home, later I will look for where my sister and her family live. Do you fight bush fires then? Firefighting such a helpful career.

Yes, I fight bush fires, I am a fire patrolman with the forestry service. Next year I will qualify to be sent out west (montana, colorado, etc) when they call our crews for assistance

I've heard about it. Technology is getting way too advanced these days. Hopefully my brain can catch up, lol.

Just yesterday my boyfriend was on it for quite a while. He loved it. We were showing each other the places we had lived. I knew about it for a while but maybe used it a few times. We were fascinated that you could even see outer space. Now that looked really cool.
