does sites like facebook or mylot contribute to lack of productivity at work

ok, be honest for a minute (your boss isnt looking!) do you find that you spend time on facebook or myspace or mylot while you are at work? do you get into trouble?
or are you a boss that finds that your staff does this? how do you deal with it?

I am my own boss..
I do not let myself get too consumed anymore..
I did for a while but now I drop by to answer my friends as they pop up on my email and start a discussion now and then..
I do not use the social sites like facebook or myspace..
I do alot of blogging and websites for promoting environmental issues and my businesses.
