Confession! -An act by Couragious ones or Coward ones ?

I think it takes a lot of guts one should have to go in for a cofession! Here I don't mean the cofession people make in Church! In day to day life to confess something to some one you like most (normally confessions are made with some one whom you like most for that matter!)requires lots of courage. It is always with danger of loosing the beloved one with your confession. But I personally feel that it amounts to cheating if you are hiding some thing from your beloved one, which requires confession. I think confession it increases ones intimacy and the bond becomes strong! People who don't confess possibly don't do so because they either don't want to hurt their beloved ones or they don't want to loose them! What is yopur opinion about it?
