Anybody familiar with Visual Basic and Computer Programming??. . . . . need help

I need some help with my Visual Basic computer programming class. I did well on my first exam but that was just on the basics of the subject. I then recieved a C and a D on the next two exams. He drops the lowest one but I need to get the grade up. Can anybody help me? If you know anything let me know and ill ask you my questions. Thanks.

hope everything turned out okay, if you have anymore questions about anything let me know. I took C/C++, COBOL,VB6,VB.Net,Java,Linux/Unix,Oracle in college. And I have done some PHP too.
