I never heard of this organization until this day. I don't think there is such an organization in my country.

Actually most of my life it was called the PTA (Parent Teacher Association). I've never belonged but honestly don't know why except most of the years my kids have been in school I've been a single mother working all the hours I could to support the family. I think if I was a stay at home mom and didn't have to work that I would enjoy being part of it though.

I was always involved in my kids pto/pta... I think that more parents should be. You know what is going on in your kids school... you know who they are with and hang out with.
you learn to pick the teachers that go with your childs personality. Which is VERY important in your childs education!

When my boys was little, I was a part of everything in there life. The PTO is a good way to keep up with the happenings with the school. I dont regret any thing I did in the schools while my boys was there. I have alot of great memories.
