Croshtes for christmas....

Im on tight budget these days and have made my christmas list and have found out that It would be very hard for me to be able to buy all the gifts for all the people on my christmas list and it would be very impossible since I only have limited resources. I checked my resources and found out that I still have lots of threads left from my crochet ventures the previous years and have decided to make bags to crochet for the christmas giving. It wont cost me that much but it’s the time that it will take so much time doing those. I have already finished five small ones and have started making big ones for my house mates and there are six of them and another two for my best friends. All I said is good luck to myself, I only got one month and a few days to do it but I am just postive that I will be able to make it before new year.LOL
How about you mylotters, what have you prepared for christmas gift giving?

Sounds like a good idea!!
I just recently got a job to pay for our Christmas gifts.
It's going to be rough but I'll make it through it.
I've already started just a little bit.
And I've been shopping for some of the rest of it but I'm still waiting for my first pay check next week to actually start it.

Yes, its good that have scaled it down coz im the one who will suffer in the end and its all for my welfare.

Yes, its a good idea but its taking time to finish one bag, and I have thought of making purses instead of the bags, coz if I pursue on making those bags, I would not be able to make enough for the people that I have listed. Purses could only take a day to finish and by doing so I will be able to make more for them and I have a lot more time left to make good ones.

Hi, I am working on crocheting afghans for my son's girlfriend and a couple more for other friends...I enjoy making them and I feel good knowing they were handmade..Your handbags are very nice...Good luck to you and I need luck to get mine done on time as well..

I am sure you can make the afghans..I use the simple half double or double stitch for mine......If you can do the bags you surely can do an afghan..It is just on a larger scale...I don't know that I could do the hand bags like you though...

surely you can do it also, its just a matter of trying it and then realizing that we can do it.
