I saw Shopping Penguin video today and watched it about 5 times. Penguin is smart enough to go shopping for family in Japan. Second video I already watched at least 10 times. It is about hippo living with people in South Africa.
Do you believe in animal wisdom? Don’t you think that all animals would like our houses and easy food?

Most animals are very wise. When I was pregnant, I had a very hard time - at time I had a female Doberman, she never left my side, if I walked she was there right beside me, For a few weeks, I could not stand without assistance, she always came to my side so I could lean on her. She did not need to be told, She knew.
My current dogs are labs, they know what meals and snacks we eat where begging is allowed...Popcorn and raw veggies, we eat anything else and they go to their beds. They will never try to pass us on the stairs, they wait for us or go ahead of us, but they know that passing us could knock us down. They are well mannered in ways that we could not teach them. That is wisdom

When I was small, I used to have pig and chicken as pets...pigs are smarter than dog and easy to train...

Whoops..I forgot...Jessica was very attractive for a hippo and obviously she has been well treated. And the penguin, was it Lala - was quite a character. I think we see cats and dogs as the norm for pets and we forget that there are other intelligent animals out there that have just not been given a chance to be pets.

I think most people who have pets would agree to this. My pet cat isn't just a pet, he's my family. I don't treat him like he's just some being on the floor, I talk to him and feed him and love him and I appreciate him. Whether it's a cat or a dog or a penguin or a hippo, I think any animal can be a part of the family.

I love animals and I believe you can trian them to do many things humans do. However I believe they are happier in their own environment.

They said that penguin refused to leave...hmmm, I think they are happy with an environment they grew up with, like humans, and so many are happier with humans, when they grew up with humans...

Oh wow I love those videos especially about Jessica the hippo. It's amazing how she doesn't show any aggression, since as it says in the videos hippos kill more humans in Africa than any other. It's also amazing how the dogs accept her, and gee, at night she gets a massage?? LOL
I have always believed animals probably have more wisdom than we humans do, and often think we're the dumb ones--I've added that video to my favorites at Youtube
