Here in my country, young people often give their seats to the old people!!
But sometimes I feel embarrassed because a lot of old people are looking at you ,waiting for your words. Who will you give it to,that's really a question.
Sometimes old people don't need your help because they think they have strength to do something.
So sometimes I really don't know what to do!

Yeah i will..I remember one time i was 3 months poregnant and i still give my seat to the old lady tiull one guy really thinks he needs to stand up to give and offer his seat to someone who is pregnant. Men sometimes they want to be on the throne and dont care about other women or the oldies.

I would give my seat to an old person. If there are a lot of them, I'd probably give it to the old lady nearest me. But if they're all old men or if they're all old ladies, I'd just simply leave my seat and let them fight for that seat. Lol. Seriously though, I think it's just right for the younger people to give up their seats for the elderly. If they don't want the seat, then other people could just take it.

of course i will do that. you know, in china, the broadcast of the but and underground train will mention you that give the people who is need help a help. when a yong man sit and a old man , old lady ,a person with a baby, or a pregnant woman stand beside him. if he doesn't give the seat to the people. he will be looked down upon. i do that just wanna lend the people who need a help a hand.

Yes, You have to do this. otherwise people will think you are impolite. but it just happen in China, Chinese are deeply influenced by traditional culture. younger generation should respect the olders. It is interesting sometimes the olders directly sit on the seat given by others without a word of thanks.
