Memory cards

I bought an SD card with lock at 128 mb. I been using this for almost a month and it has already a lot of data. But one day, the lock of the card was detached and nowhere to be found. My problem now is i can no longer write or delete the data of my card. I was trying to format but to no avail. Does anybody out there who could help me what to do to retrieve my data?
