Chopin

Wow! I never thought I would ever say this but I just (as of last night) became addicted to Chopin! I'd never heard any of his music before and only knew that he was a classical composer. Well with classical music being a terrible trigger for me (Beetoveen, Bach etc) I just assumed Chopin was that orchestra type classical music which is what I have issues with...Found out last night he was a PIANIST and compose piano music....So I looked him up on Amazon and listened to some clips and omg I LOVE IT!
Does anyone else care for his work and do you have any particular pcs or CDs to recommend?

By any chance did you check out Chopin because of Sunday's episode of Dexter? His music was prominently featured on the show.

YEP! thats exactly why!! LOL The pc Deb and FBI guy were listening to was beautiful so I did my thing and am officially addicted LOL Dexter really is such educational programing and this just proves it :-D LMAO

Oh I dont know about that...my son (he's 14) enjoys classical thanks to his Aunt and cousin who are both avid listeners and I do know some other ppl who listen to classical...As for the information, I know bits and pieces of some composers but like I said its been a trigger for me since I was very young so I HAD TO (still do) avoid it like the plague for my own well being mentally/emotionally....If it'd not been for watching the newest episode of Dexter last night I'd still not know that Chopin was a pianist but now that I do know I'm more than willing to find out more about that type of classical ya know..

I do enjoy some classical music at times though I don't actually own any CD's.
Chopin - he was amazing pianist. I'd love to have that kind of talent LOL.
