joint family vs. nuclear family

with the advent of new era joint families have lost their significance but there are still people who think that joint family system is the best althought it having its pros and cons and i am the one believing in joint family system what do you believe in??

is joint family and expanded family the same? well any way, i think as society advances the family size reduces for more mobility. there is always pros and cons in whatever family orientationa or household type people have. But you have to analyze it in context of a given society. However, there are more factors involve in order to get which family system work best. like the kind of work, location, wealth and even the house structure.
