I normally like to use traditinal type of Wall clocks for I feel they have their own beauty apart from the purpose for which they meant for. But for last one year or so I have switched over to Digital Wall clocks. The reasons first they have the LCs which can be seen in the dark, so I am able to see the time during night hours even in dark, as I need to attend my horses during odd hours of night as a Stud vet and secondly these type of clocks they come with added features like day, date and room temperature which definitel;y is an advantage over the traditional ones! Though these Clocks look typically like office furnitute and they are not as attractive as the traditional wall clocks, I feel they have their own charm once you fall in love with them! For that matter I am not agaist the old traditinal wall clock and I do have a traditional wall clock in one of our bed rooms and I do look at at it for knowing the time, it was just the changing trenda I was talking about! How about you, Which type of wall clocks do you use at your place?

I would prefer the traditional clocks. Now a style has come in which the dials are in reverse order, i.e. 1 comes before 12 and 11 comes after i.e. right side of 12. Whole dial thing is reversed in it. I saw it in my friend's home. I am searching for one of them.

I like traditional clocks. Like you said they are pretty and look nice on the wall. I have ones without numbers and it confuses my husband. He says he cant read it without the numbers. I do have a digital clock in my room. Like you said its nice to be able to see the time in the dark. And now in the morning its still dark at 7am do the lighted numbers are nice.

Diggital with dry cells. It is a simple wall clock and it gives us very accurate timing day in day out.

i actually have both, but I prefer the traditional ones since i find them to be more attractive to put on walls =) However I find myself using my watch on my cellphone most of the times when I wanna know the time - just because It is always with me in my pocket =)

I prefer to use traditional design battery operated quartz wall clocks! That looks beautiful and spirited, as if announcing time in every ticks. Rotation of hands add life to their steady work and thus we say often the phrase 'Round the clock'. Thanks for this nice posting.

We have both in my house, but I like how traditional clocks look better.
