Try taking old xmas cards and cut them in circles the same size then fold the edges to make a triange in the middle of each one , glue them together , it`ll make a ball..
You will make your own xmas bulbs ...
I learnt this in school ...
MERRY XMAS

Well I live by the woods. So I go out and collect pine tree branches. I take them home and cut them to make wreaths out of. One they are free and two they smell awesome. I also use some of the branches over my doors.

Frugal should be my middle name... some people would say cheap, but that sounds so negative!LOL! Our first tree was decorated with ornaments I made from the paper that was on our wedding gifts!
One of my favorite things is to tie on plain ornaments with 6x12 strips of nylon net... it really looks like there's a lot on the tree! And its safe with the tiny lights.
This year, I am making piles of origami birds... one pkg of paper in assorted colors can make a lot of them to be used for occasions all year round, and the birds fold flat for storage. An origami book from the library can give you more ideas and instructions, if birds aren't your thing!
