Windows XP or iMac?

I have had many mixed reviews on the most popular computers out there. Most of the time, I believe people haven't tried straying away from windows as they are not used to the Mac. I'm planning to get a notebook soon, and I was wondering about if anyone has any comments on which seems more manageable. (Yes, I heard Mac hardly or never crashes)

yes i came to know about the features it is having very soon i will be trying it lets see whether it stands well in our case !!

Bro if i have to go for some operating system then i'll surely go for mac one instead of windows .
