I Raise Fancy Guppies

I am right now breeding very pretty Metalic baby blue guppies, and my female is giving birth this very minute. They have live babies!

Congratulations!! I have never seen that with guppies. Normally I would mis that part, was either at school or outside. I would have liked to see that happen. Do you keep all the guppies? Or put them in different aquarium´s? What do you do with them? Take care.

Well in the wild they probably have lots of plants and rocks to hide under that would be my guess

They stay seperate because the mother will eat them i was up till 5 am waiting for her to finish lol, I have a large aquarium that i transfer them to when they are large enough to not get eaten lol, working on getting the pic taken.

You should post a picture of them so we could see how pretty they are. I enjoy Fancy Guppies they are very pretty.

The only guppies I know of having babies is from my cellphone hehe… I have this aquamarine game in my phone that I always play and likes to get them lay guppies. Well anyway I never have seen guppies before ever.

Guppies are a live bearing fish that can give birth to several broods after just having been mated one time with one male guppy. This is why you need to separate the boys from the girls, so that you can make sure who mates with which fish in the aquarium.

that is correct, that is why i keep my flourescent baby blue ones in a different tank to breed so they dont get crossbreeded with another color

im going to keep them in a safe little birthing tank, then when they are big enough i will put them in the large tank
