Is it better to tell a lie rather than the truth? Maybe. But most of us tell lies in our daily life. Why people tell lies? Here are some reasons I have read. First, lying to hide something; second , lying to make an excuse; third, lying to make someone feel good; four, lying to avoid sharing bad news. Do you agree with these? Jion me ,please.

Personally, I prefer the truth, it's easier that way. You don't have to try to keep track of all the lies you've told and to whom! hehehe.
But sometimes it's better to lie. I have learned that it is never a good idea to tell a cop the truth. They can't handle the truth. And there are other people who don't handle the truth well either.
I would never lie to my friends and loved ones to avoid repercussions from something that I had done, but I wouldn't hesitate to lie to them to spare their feelings, unless they were begging me for the truth!
