Thanksgiving dinner disasters???

you always see on tv these horrible holiday dinner disasters and well i always fear especially when im having people over that i will make the turkey to dry and when my husband goes to carve it , it will split open adn poof all dry adn shriveled (i believe i saw that on a show once and ever since its stuck with me) but in reality so far so good knock on wood things have gone pretty smoothly. but how about you have you had any diasaster happen on thanksgiving that just stick in your head??? if so please share!

The first year I decided to host Thanksgiving dinner I woke up with the flu I felt terrible. I was really dizzy whenever I stood up and felt like I was going to faint. I did manage to get the turkey in the oven but had to call my mom to come finish dinner I just laid on the couch then my sister in law called and wanted to invite more people over even though I already told her I was sick. I guess it wasn't a distaster since everyone got to eat but it was a horrible thanksgiginv for me and will alway stick in my mind.

That does sound horrible theres nothing worse then having to entertain and not feeling well and i cant believe your sister in law wanted to invite more people dispite the fact you were sick thank goodness your mother was able to come to the rescue! thanks for your comment
