Choosing A Best Response

How do you choose which response to your discussions is best? Do you only choose those who agree with your opinion? Do you favor those on you friends list over those not? Do you try to help out those with a lower rating? It can be difficult sometimes. If there is good discussion, there has to be something that causes you to lean one way or another.

I chose best response based on various features of the response.the first and foremost thing is i see if the person has really understood the topic andposted the rsponse or is it just for the sake of monetary benefit.the next point is i see the quality of the content he has posted if the response does convey or express the required idea.also i see if the response has a minmum length,i dont consider just a small sentence responses.my hishest mark is for the creativity of the one who has posted the response.if the response has anew ideaor thought thats relevant to the situation, without any doubt i mark it as the best response.the foremost thing is i dont consider any personal feelings in this regard.

That sounds a lot like how I choose a best response. Thanks for your comments.

Well, if I was looking for help I choose the one that helped me the most. There are some discussions where I don't choose the best response like when I asked "do you have Pringles in your country". It's because i don't have the base to compare rensponses. But if there's one that I liked the most for some reason (i.e. it's it's funny or I see someone spent a lot of time and though to write it) Surely I will mark it^_^ I don't favor my friends nor I help those with low ranting if i don't feel they deserve it.

Good input. You're right, too, some discussions just don't have a possible best response.
