Do you know your friend very well? It would help you a lot if you know her favorites... what she likes to do, what color she likes, and stuff like that. If she likes music, get her the latest CD of her favorite artist. If she likes books, you could buy her one. Or if you're not that close, you could get her something like a gift card to a department store that has a lot of stuff to choose from. That way you're sure she can get something she likes as a gift from you.

Do you know what kind her favorite? I think you know what she is like, because she is your friend. Buy something usefull for her. Just an example : if she like to read, maybe you can buy her books that she like, etc. Unique is nice, but if you buy something that she don't like that will be waste your money. Oke happy hunting gift for her :)

Most women like candles, although that is not unique. If you know her really well and she collects something maybe you could find a hard to find item to add to her collection!
