stockings...do you do Christmas stockings? what do you put in them?

I have never done stockings for anyone but my kids for them I usually get things like hot wheels cars, pencils, crayons, hair pieces, little notebooks and some candy. I just look around in the store to see what catches my eye to put in the stockings.

When I do stockings i put a coulpe small toys , shampoo, conditioner (trial size), deck of cards, candy, canes, or xmas candy, an apple and an orange... What do you put in them ????

How about some flavored coffees or teas? A small box of gourmet chocolates, sausage or cheese, or other yummy things. Gag gifts can be fun, too, and give everyone a laugh.

I have two boys 3 and 5 and we put up stockings for them every year. This year I am going to put some hot wheel cars, underware, and socks in them. LOL. They need them. I remember one year my mom put batteries in my stocking. I didnt know why I nedded so many untill I opened my gifts. I got a new walkman, the cd type.

I love them, I don't get them anymore though. I usually do one for my partner but money is tight this year so we're both spending alot less on each other. I usually put some chocolate in and either small novelty gifts (Hawkins Bazaar over here is amazing for that) and bits and bobs like socks, pens maybe a mug things that aren't expensive, aren't wonderfully exciting but are useful. I used to get make-up and toiletries in mine from my mum.
