How do you like this? A school let an convicted criminal pick up a child he didn't know up from school? He wasn't on the list of pick up adults. Somebody didn't follow school policy on checking children out, obviously. And they still don't know how the man even knew her name to check her out. If I were a parent, this incident would make me really uneasy. What do you think of it?

That is terrible! I think the school should check ID's before allowing someone to pick a child up from school. I mean anybody can go in and request to pick up a child, but that doesn't mean they are the parent. Nowadays they have students working in the offices of high schools. They are allowed to help parents who are picking up students and send out letters to parents. I think if they are going to do this someone should always be there to oversee that it is being done properly and following the rules.

I hear about this on TV shows, but not in real life. Oh did they get the child back or is she still in the hands of the kidnapper? Because if she is, and she is killed, the school should be held responsible and perhaps a civil suit by the parents and a hefty fine should make them think. Do you suppose he was related, the black ship of the girl's family? It sounds very scary.

The little has been found and returned to her family. But I think that some action should be taken against the school anyways. So this type thing doesn't happen again. I don't think he was related. They don't know how he even knew about her or knew her name.

That is inexcusable in the times we are living in, Aurone. Whoever acted so negligently should be dismissed from their job and held responsible if anything should happen to that child. These perverts are so clever they can think up all kinds of ways to gain access to children. I pray that the child will be returned safely to the family.

They found the little girl she is safe and sound. And I agree someone should lose their job over this one. Evidently the school's protocol wasn't observed--indeed. This was a terrible mistake and lax on the school's part. They really need to be more careful considering the times we are living in.

How awful! There are so many questions. How in the world could something like this happen? Did the child know this person? If they didn't know them why would they go with them. What happened to the child? I hadn't heard about this story before. It'd unimaginable. The school is definitely in some big trouble for that.
