Harbour? I once saw that on a tv show and their case was that he knew the Japanese were going to bomb pearl, but chose to ignore it as it was the only way that the US would go into the war... America figured it wasn't their war until an attack on their soil. I have just come across a site saying the same thing again... thoughts? http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/6315/pearl.html

Funny you should ask? lol...my son is a history buff and had me reading this site just this afternoon! You should check it out. This is just some of what it has to say: "During the pre-war negotiations with Japan, Roosevelt often knew what the Japanese were prepared to offer and willing to settle for. The messages sent on December 6th made it perfectly clear to Roosevelt that the Japanese government was planning to declare war upon the United States." http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mpearlharbor.html

Hi Honey, I think if he knew he might have done something to prevent it. That attitude of letting others take care of their own problems and America minding it's own business was not such a bad thing.. If asked for help it is good to go in but to just butt our nose in others biz all the time is not good for our country. I really think that many are out to get Americans....It isn't safe for us to travel...we are not even secure in our own country anymore. Time for us to look at our past and learn from it! xoxoxoxoxo
