i need some help with my dad. .

back in august my dad got really sick and couldnt work for over a month. he got behind on the bills to the point where the credit card companys are calling all the time. im not so worried about that as much as i am about him. he has three kids, 21,17,14 and he feels bad that he's having trouble supporting them. we tell him all the time how much we love him but he cares little about himself. i dont know what to do. my mom doesnt want to leave him by himself because she's scared as to what he might do. he's been very depressed lately and with the holidays coming i dont know how hes gonna respond to the christmas season knowing he wont be able to provide what hed like. any thoughts on how to help him?
