What's your replacement TV lineup?

I posted a similar thread under the Office, but now I'd like a general opinion. The Writer's Guild strike has now made an impact on my prime-time TV watching because the last new episode of the Office will air tonight. Now that I'm feeling an impact, I'm sure most of you are as well. So, what are you going to watch instead of new episodes of your favorite shows? Will you resort to reruns or will you switch to reality TV that isn't scripted? Will you rent movies or go out? What are your plans?

I think I still have a few more weeks of shows before mine run out. After that, I'll probably watch classic movies on TCM or DVD's from Netflix. And, I'll read books and play on the computer. The only reality shows I watch are "Little People, Big World" and sometimes the challenges on The Food Network (when they do cakes or pies or other sweet stuff). Other than that, I don't watch reality tv, and I don't plan to start.

I'm not switching any of my shows around. If my shows won't come on due to lack of new episodes, that's fine. I'll just watch movies instead. I have plenty myself and I have some the movie channels and stuff so it's really no big deal to deal. There isn't much else I am interested in otherwise.

I'll probably start renting more movies. Since we don't ever use our monthly allowance on blockbuster online, this will be a good chance to catch up on all the movies I never saw in the theater. Now that it is cold, I'm going to try to do more baking in the evenings this winter, and try to get some of my indoor projects around the house taken care of, too. Not having new episodes to keep me glued to the couch might actually turn out to be a really good thing for me!

I don't watch a lot of television during prime time so I really don't think that it will effect me as much as some. I am looking to find some more time to read anyway and this will be a good way of getting my kids to read a little more too. I would say that if the strike continues much longer we will see more reality tv coming out as they will need to keep some new material on the tv. I feel sorry for the actors, etc. that this effects. I am sure that they are going to lose money in this mess too.

In my opinion, there wasn't anything worth watching before the strike so it doesn't matter to me. But I bet sales of DVD box sets of favorites will increase.
