chocolate cake or cheesecake?

basically i'm really just curious...what would you go for, if you had to choose only one? a gooey chocolate cake or lusciously creamy cheesecake? i know they're both pretty tempting...but what if you had to choose just one?
me, though i like cheesecake, i think i'd go for the gooey chocolate cake--but then, i guess it would depend on my mood... :)

in my case i will prefer gooey chocolate cakes..but like you it will also depend upon my mood...

hmmmm...it's pretty hard to choose between the two because both are my favorites but if i really had to choose i think i would choose gooey chocolate cake since chocolate are all favorites. NOw im getting tempted, and i am now starving hehehe

It depends where this dessert is to be eaten. If I am home and I made it or it was from Tasty Kake, I would pick the chocolate cake. But if I were out at a restaurant, I would pick the cheesecake.i would never try to make a cheesecake. It is best when a restaurant makes it.

wow that is a tough decision, i mean i love love chocolate, who doesn't really? and then cheesecake is my all time favorite cake i would chop someone's hand off for tryin to touch my cheesecake, so i would have to say cheesecake jus wit some chocolate sauce on top, so that way i can combine my favorites together

It's not too hard of a choice for me... I don't really like cheesecake and I LOVE chocolate! So definitely Chocolate cake for me!

I love chocolate, but i'm not really big on cake. i like cake but I don't eat it very often. I love cheesecake though. I'd have to say I'd go for the cheesecake. Especially if there are strawberries to top it with.

I prefer cheese cake to chocolate cake. I could easily eat half of the cake at one go but I could hardly finish a slice of chocolate cake. The only chocolate cake that I would try to eat is the moist one. Other then that, cheese cake is for me!

Well, it will depend what type of chocolate cake it is. I'm a big fan of chocolate but not a great fan of chocolate mud cake as they tend to be a bit too heavy. I love cheesecake, especially baked ones!

I love cheesecake I would eat it over chocolate any day of the week. It has sooo many calories though and is soo rich. I like my cheesecake plain though I don't like it when they put cherries on it.

chocolate, as it is available everyday.
cheesecake, you only remember it when you see one, but i like that too.
