My son just had one today. I just walked in the door a moment ago and turned on the tv and thought I would post about the yummy Thanksgiving lunch we just had. It was turkey, mashed potato and gravy, beans and cranberry jelly and chocolate milk or just plain fatfree or 1% milk and it only cost $3.15 for me and $2.15 for my son. It was Yummy yummy in my tummy :):) I think it's just about nap time and its only 11.15am LOL

We are a homeschool family so we don't get those kinds of things anymore. However, when my kids were in public school I did do those things. The lunches were usually very good and we always made a point to thank the cafeteria ladies as they had extra work to do that day. I am glad that you enjoyed the day and I am sure that your son had a nice time too. These are the way to make memories for them. I say that it is okay to take a nap as I plan to as soon as I get off here since I am sick anyway.

It is nice participating and enjoying spending time with my son and his friends at school. Those are memories that I will cherish forever. Thanks Carolscash and enjoy your nap!

I have never heard of that. But, that is a very good way for a school to raise extra money. It sounds like it was a whole lot better than the lunch I had. Glad you had fun and a good meal. I really like his school.
