Anyone see the news article that in Australia they've banned Santa from saying ho ho ho! because it offends women? LOL They're now required to ha ha ha..no more ho ho ho! How sad..whats next? Saying he's not real and ruining everything! Check it out on yahoo

Thats the stupidist thing I have ever heard!! Santa has said ho ho ho for thousands of years. Why all of a sudden does it offend people? Im a lady and dont find it offencive. Its what sants says.

I did read this and it is ridiculous...I thought it was just plain ignorant...Why do adults want to ruin all the fun for the little ones?...It is truly a shame...

Have you ever gotten those forwards in your email about how our parents and grand parents lived. And how most of what they were allowed to do..eat..whatever didn't hurt them at all. It frustrates me beyond believe how the new generations are just so overprotective, taking anything and everything away that simply hurts no one. How about we worry more about whats actually hurting this world...cancer..disease..poverty. Not Santa saying ho ho ho...give me a break!

I'm a woman and I never even thought of "Ho,ho,ho" in that way until these PC people brought it up! I think it's madness how certain adults have to read too far iinto normal, everyday children's things and tun it into something "adult" and wrong. I hope people try to counter the banning and get back to saying Hoho ho again. (My little ones call Santa, "HoHo, I wonder if we offend people when they announce loudly in public "HoHo's coming!" LOL)

hey this sounds quite ridiculous , i think the politicians and the administrators are too free to look into such matters .. actually they are afraid of santa's popularity and wants to drive attention of the ppl towards them by doing such non-sensical things..

Yes, I read this earlier today. It's ridiculous. Nowadays everyone is offended for something or another.If you think Santa is calling you a "hoe", you are an idiot!! Grow up people...It's Santa Claus for crying out loud!!!

That's political correctness gone crazy - I thought the aussies were quite liberal in that respect - We can't even celebrate St.Georges Day in England without the ethnical minorities kicking up a stink for us English citizens being 'racist' what is the world coming to??! The Irish celebrate St.Patricks Day with no probs, The French Bastille Day..etc. How can we be racist just for celebrating our national day & flying our flags? I guess that's the topic of a new discussion eh?!
