I came across a very good device the other day it is a medical Alert that fits on your key ring and plugs into the usb port of a computer, so you can feed all your medical information, family history of medical nature, contact numbers and other info, so if anything happens to you Hospital staff or ambulance men only have to plug tour alert into a computer to get your whole medical history, I have ordered one as I don't really have any family and I think it will always be with me in case of an emergency. http://www.medmonitoring.com/medic_tag/index.html Great for people with a lot of medical history...

This sounds great. I carry a long list of allergies to medications in my dayplanner. I also have to wear a medical ID bracelet. I am off to check this out. Thanks for the heads up

Hi lilaclady! What a good idea this is. I need to get one for my husband as he has a few serious medical issues, one of them being that he has a rare blood group. This USB Medical Alert would be a wise investment for him should be get taken ill and I'm not there to give the relevant information to medical staff. Thanks for the information.

WOW, what a great device, technoligy is awesome hey! I might think about buying one of these as I have a few health issues, and it would just save a lot of time explaining to hospital staff all of my health issues. Saying that it depends if you are whether or not you or awake or flat out. So yeh! what a great device, thanks for the info, and by the way it is available here in Australia.

You could make up one with an ordinary memory stick to carry with you and find some way to label it...

Thank you... I'm going to look into that... I have a huge medical history, and Hun has diabetes. It would be nice to have all of that information available in case of an accident!

Hello! An amazing idea. Very useful for those who needs to keep track of their health information, history and medication. Although I don't think I really need to own one but I think it's something very useful in times of emergency. I just hope its affordable and would be available internationally. Thanks for the info. Take care. ciao! c",)
