I think hi-tec will not replace traditional methods of learning and reading.Firstly, handwritting is our traditional value.A piece of good handwritting can bring people good mood,it is a way in which we can make ourselves peace and happy.Secondly,we all know sitting in front of a computer for a long time is harmful to our health, accordingly,we should ajust our life in time .Thirdly,TV and computer can not express ideas that we want through reading. For me,I still love reading and writting.

I still love reading, and now read a lot from the net. There is too much material online, ranging from newspapers, sports analysis to short stories. The only problem I have with reading on computer is that I tend to skim over most material-I am a fast reader so when I see a lot of information arraigned before me, I skim over it to get to the one below it. The Computer has not affected my reading, I still read as much as I used to before I began using it. Which is much.

I still love to read. I read (and actual book) at least half an hour every day. More if I have time. I also love to actually write things down with a pen and paper instead of typing it up on the computer. I write actual letters and mail them instead of just sending emails, too.

I was taught to use pen and to read as many as possible. I dont think I will forget books or handwrite. Reading books is more enjoyable and healthier, the same about to handwrite. What's more, standing before bookshelf, flick over a book in some seconds and fix at certain interesting pages, soon you'll become totally unware of the surroundings.

I still love to read books ! i could finnish one book in one sitting ! but i hate to read books in a computer...it gives me a headache. I have a habit of writting down things that I need to remember or new words that I learned. at the same time I love to write e-mails to my friends as well. I think you just need to balance things with this new technologies so you won't forget how amazing doing things the old way. happy reading

I don't like reading e-books cos it makes my eyes unconfortable. I like the feeling of holding a book in hand and turning to the next leaf. As to the writing problem, although not writing as much now, occationally i write important things down with a pen. So i don't think i'll forget how to use it:)

I am sympathy with you point of view.today more and more people use the computer instead of the pen .Someone has not touched the book for many days ,so they must be out of practice. But i like reading books.Every night i read books before i go to bed. It make me sleep well and i learn some thing new from it .

Computer does at times have an adverse effect on our reading habits, and in my case, it certainly has. These days I read very few books. I mostly watch movies on my computer. But I do remember reading a couple of e-books on my computer!!

As for me ,I won't.As we all know ,when we look at the sreen for long time ,it has a bad influence on our eyes.In addition,we have no enough time to read on line.It isn't the feeling we want to have without a real book.

I prefer reading books to reading on my computer. I also prefer writing on paper than on my computer sometimes, like when it is a letter to a friend. I use my computer for things that I can't do by hand, like writing here. But whenever I can, I prefer paper, and I hope it never goes out of style.

Of course, reading is vital, and it doesn't matter if you read books, newspapers, or blog and e-book in pdf format. For the "writing with a pen" question is now too late, i have serious problem writing long text without a keyboard.. Enjoy O_o
