Honestly I have a lot of difficulty with silence. It makes me very uncomfortable. I find it difficult to just do one thing at once. I can usually be seen eating dinner, with the tv on, the computer going, and working on a project all at the same time. I wish I could learn to be silent.

In the past 5 year or so I rarely initiated a discussion at home or at work on my own..Yes, it had its plusses and minuses too..

I have been silent for days and even weeks at a time before. It's been a spiritual experience for me, usually asked of me by a specific deity or guide, but sometimes initiated myself. The major problem for me with finding time to be silent is that I have too many responsibilities lately that require talking: a child, a job, etc. Right now if I had the opportunity I think I would take a couple of days to be silent, but I might have to settle for a couple of hours sometime instead.

I always give myself a 15 minute break of silence.. i close the doors and just sit there. and relax my mind and think of good things like im in a forest i just hear the birds and have the crisp smell of the mountains..imaginations do work for me to take away he stress for the day. And my hubby really cooperates with me he is away for 15 minutes because he knows im on my relaxation time.. and its good..specially with some classical music in the background really do help alot!

Silence is not nice, not after playing lots of Resident evil games. Haven't played them in a while but after playing them, pure silance freaks me out. Otherwise silence is nice if you are in need on clearing your mind and stuff like that. I do not spend much time in silence, but i often like it when i happen to be there. But often i can't spend any longer times in silence since i feel it easily gets so damn boring.

hi, i always keep silent. you know, i am not that kind of people who like talking to other people, sometimes i dont know what to say, sometimes i dont want to say. i hate hearing some people speaking some hypocritical words to other people, i would like to speaking nothing. i would like just smelling when other people talking.

to remain in contemplative mood is one of my passion. even when i'm in crowd, i can stay in silence and start to think about something. this has been an advantage to me as i made it as a habit to think whatever is being taught in classroom without books or discussing with friends.
