What were your parents most annoying habits?

My father had the biggest mouth on earth, would talk talk talk your ear off.
My mother would sing to the muzak in the stores or she'd just start singing period didn't need any music on. When I was younger I'd be so embarrassed when I went shopping with her and she'd be singing all the time. Then if she thinks she sounded good she'd say "my I'm in good voice today"

My dad has a disgusting habit of spitting, he coughs then spits into the rubbish bin beside him on the sofa, it puts me off my dinner when he does that and I have to have my dinner in another room. He doesn't seem to realize that it is very offending and vile! He also has a bad habit of sitting watching awful daytime television and when the phone goes he calls my mum to answer it and he's nearest to the phone.

You remind me of my Great-Great Grandmother when you mention your mother. She would also sing whenever the mood hit her, very old songs that no one could recognize. But I liked it, it was comforting to me. Even now I miss her shuffling through the house singing "Getting Sentimental Over You." I know no one knows that song, that's her and my special secret lol.
