Is there any pathetic scene in real life that haunts your memory still?

I have too many things that haunt me. Too many pathetic scenes. Sadly most of them I was the one being pathetic in some way or other, so it's hard to really relate them. The most pathetic scene in my mind at the moment was a genius, a man with talent that I could only dream of, potential that so many people would give anything for, with his brains splattered all over the place because he had killed himself. I have tried for so many years to get that image of my first love to go away... and it doesn't, no matter what I do. Pathetic not only because he was young, and had a life ahead of him, but also because he was so dear to so many people, and had so much to give the world that would never know him.

The most pathetic scene is when I was living with my sister and her husband and I walked into an unused room to go to the back restroom and found the two of them doing the no no on the floor. They were right at the door. It just happened to be my birthday. It was not only pathetic, but rather gross. That memory still haunts me to this day.

Bala! I would not like to recall a pathetic scene which happened in my real life so as not to make me sad.
