Hi meenneixz! Since when we were kids, it has never been a strange thing to me. Here in Africa, it is a common thing. Here in africa, many children walk bare footed for about 2 or more kilometers. I can walk barefooted, but only when am at home. Thanks

BAREfooted - Barefooted in the mud. [mylot discussion serial number: 1332185.aspx
Hi & Hello meenneixz, YES I have had barefooted especially in my childhood life as I lived in village area. Advantages of walking barefooted on soil area or blunt surface is good for our blood circulation as our feet is the turning point to our blood circulation system. That is why refloxology technique exists in an ancient days. The disadvantages and two (2) of it is vulnerable in getting cuts when stepping on sharp object and worms. HAPPY DAPPY.

yah i heard that news from a doctor that it could help a patient get well because the nerves in our feet is connected to all nerves in the body...and since it is exercised it could really help the blood circulation and no need to go for reflex....just walk barefooted or wear slippers with something like a soft thorns....... you remind me of that great facts i forgot it...... happy posting...

Yep, I have experienced walking in the mud barefooted on a rainy day. I was a little girl and really liked the feeling of the soft mud between my toes. It was a mess to clean up later, As an adult, I am rarely barefooted. Prefer slippers on my cold feet.

Yep. I could all the time. I only wear shoes if I have to go in a store other than that its barefoot all the way. I even go out in the snow and rain with no shoes. I like the feel of the earth beneath my feet. I can even walk on hot black top with no problems. I have a pair of shoes that are 3 years old and look new. Thats how often I wear them.

I love being barefoot. I rarely wear shoes. If there is snow on the ground or such I will usually at least slip on a pair of crocs. In the summer and spring I even garden barefoot most of the time. I love the feel of the soft earth under my feet. Of course, I have to hose them off or stand in a bucket of water before I can venture into the house. I do wear socks around the house in the winter months and keep my crocs handy for those outside trips or quick walks or drives to the store. I don't think being as fond of being barefoot as I am I could ever live again without crocs...LOL
