Do you leave tags when responding to discussions?

I always try to put tags on discussions, espeically if there are none or if the number tagger has been at it again. Some person goes around myLot and puts all numbers in tags.

no my dear friend i wont leave tag when i respond to a discussion but i add tags to discussions which i started as with which only over discussion will be shown to mylotters.i will select a tag depending on my discussion.i select them such that they will give some idea about my discussion.but when iam replying for others discussion i will skip the tags.

I actually always do. To be honest, though, I do not have an idea what would happen or what we could get if we contribute tags. Personally, I only put tags to help out the starter of a discussion. Of course, if anyone would use the myLot search engine and a particular discussion has lots of tags, its chances of being shown to a myLot search engine user, and its chance of receiving a response or contribution from the same would probably be higher. More importantly, as a golden rule subscriber, I just do unto others what I want others do unto me. Happy myLotting, sir! ;)

Well if i don't have any good tags to add i just press skip. But i do leave tags every now and then. Tags are helpful when you're searching in mylot. It makes it easier for everybody. Just be sure to put tags that are relevant to the topic/subject.

Dont press skip while mylot as for keyword because these keywords are used to search posting via the search bar of mylot.I enter a relavent tag and it bring nice response and also help the mylot admin so use tag dont skip the tags.

I always make it a point to tag my discussion before sumbitting it finally! So far I think I must have tagged all of my discussions except for one or two comments which really don't require any tags as such! Mylot forum is basically a data Bank and we are helping the Data Bank in storing the properly in an organised manner so that it can be easily retreived in case it is required! It is just like labelling a file in your File cupboard. It is your tag to your discussion which will give recognition to your discussion and it will help to locate your discussion with the help of search! So it is important to tag your discussion as it is for ypour own benefit ! I even some times over tag the discussion and then I am asked to restrict my tags to ten only! Hope henseforth you are going to tag your discussions instead of skipping them!

Yes I leave tags when I response to discussions here. Its because i believe that tags really contribute a lot if we are looking for certain discussions and topics. But sometimes I also skip that when I see that the tag that I will be writing already exist. There would be no use writing it anymore.

I would always tag my discussions and replies. I do not know why I always do that but it is just one hard habit to break and as i see that it does no harm, so I would not quit doing that. LOL!
