I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, so I haven't gotten anything for our son who will be 15months old for Christmas. What are some good gifts for his age group?

My son will also be 15 months at Christmas, and I am planning to get for him cars to use on a Towne Center rug he has, building blocks, books, and a rocking horse that my husband is going to make. Basically anything that encourages him to Do something, build, manipulate, explore, climb. These are the things that toddlers love to do. Oh, I also am getting him large wood puzzles. Melissa & Doug have some really great ones.

Thanks for the ideas. He has a few puzzles, but they're made out of cardboard and I found him today EATING a piece of one of the puzzles today! LOL I didn't know they had large wood puzzles. Is Melissa & Doug a website, or a store?

hello nica,as you are going to get many great answers for toys here,I thought I would go a bit different, buy him a new potty chair and some cloth training pants with plastic pants(seperate so they can be used for some time). he is getting very close to the training age,and the sooner started,he could surprise you. this is a christmas present for you all.lol

You know, I was actually discussing this with my husband. We're going to start (slowly) to potty train him. I guess it can't hurt, right? Thanks for your suggestion, it's a great one. I guess great minds DO think alike. LOL

My youngest will be 17 months at that time. I think that some great toys for your little one would be those new crayola new beginning line of crayons, markers, paints etc. My youngest loves them right now, and I hope to get him some more.. We will also be getting him a power wheels (they have some specifically for 18 months at walmart) they move VERY slow, so you wouldn't have to worry about him getting hurt. Also, bubbles, playdough, balls, trucks, any of that they love.

He has a lot of books and computer applications along with toys that teach him color, shapes, letters and sounds. I know he can't enough of educational stuff, so we may go that route. Thanks for posting.
