i used to climb trees when we were kids, mostly fruit trees, i mean what will a kid climb it for.
right now, i don't have much chance to climb but i did last summer when i had to help my father harvest some of mangoes... its good to climb up a tree, just sit there on top and have a wider view of your surroundings :-)

yes i used to help my mum because she could not climb up the tree cause she has bad legs and plus the weight as well i use to pick plums for her cause she loves eating the plums thanks for your response

Hello hopejordan,
I am too scared of height. I don't even dare to look down from the window of a double storey building. I never climbed a tree before. In fact, I was so much so like a princess when I was a small kid. Girls don't climb *laughs* and so do I!

Hi hope,
As a kid I remember climbing big trees a few times when I used to visit my grandparents' house. It was fun! However, It's not amusing anymore. Infact It would scare me terribly now! lol..

Well when i was a kid i climbed a lot of trees but now is just hard to climb a tree......you could came down with the tree :)

thanks for your response you must of been a really active kid when you were younger i never done it when i was a kid i was about 18 or somthing like that late i know but i dont climb right to the top thougth i just went and picked some plums for my mum it was nice and purple colur take care hopejordan

I love climbing trees! We had one in the front of our yard that we used to always climb as kids. We even left stuff up there so it was sorta our fort. every once and a while I get a urge to climb a tree again. I do climb them every once and a while.

hehe. I'm really not scared of heights. Its generally not the going up, but the coming down thats scary. I'm 24 now but I still like to do silly little things like climb trees. The last time I climbed a tree would be when I was 20. My friend and I were bored and I had this urge to climb a tree... so we did.
WHen we sold our house when I was 18 there were still things up the tree from when we were younger. Since then the new owners have cut that tree down.

I have never climbed a tree. I live in a city, so there are no more chances for me to have a tree to climb. Otherwise others will have a strange look at me:) Besides, I am afraid of falling down from the tree. I have no guts to climb it.

yeah up to now i still like to climb tree when im in my province i climb mango tree to get the fruit which is very hard to take it out by woods but except coconut tree its very hard to climb it only mango tree, aratiris tree and other tree that is very easy for me to climb:-)

The only tree i remember climbing was this slanted date tree at our school. I grew up in the middle east so there weren't much to climb but date trees. I'm clumsy enough while walking so i can only imagine what mess i'd be in while attempting to climb up trees.
