Why does Eamon say a lot of bad words in his songs?

I'm just curious...
Why is it that Eamon likes to cuss a lot in his songs? Just like in F*** I don't want you back, and I can't beleive yout ook him home.
Is he psychologically or emotionally abused? Or is it his way of making it in the music scene?

I like music very much,But my english level is poor.
So this is my first time download "f*** it",and I am listening now, actually I dont like songs like this style (in china also have similar song,and considered bad) maybe as your said
sometime cuss is the immediatest mode to express ourselves .But move it into music,sounds too much!worked~

Wow!!
I have been to China myself and never knew that music with a lot of cuss words existed. But yeah,EAMON does have a way to make those things sound cool instead of bad.

I think, when he first came out, it was sort of a novelty - I mean, maybe he's just trying to appeal to an older demographic, because no one would play his songs before 9pm, as there was so much 'adult content' etc. I think he just wanted to get some attention, and unfortunately, it worked!

Yeah I guess so.
You know, I sort of relate to his songs coz I guess that's how someone would think, feel and what to say when bad things do happen. I just don't think that me cussing would get the good kind of attention.
But it's unfair don't you think? I mean he cusses a lot and gets rich but if we cuss a lot we'll lose our friends lol!

But don't you think it's unfair he cusses a lot and people thinks he's cool so they buy his albums and he gets rich!
If I cuss like him i'd probably be famous for being a b**** or backstabber. But hey it's unfair coz i don't think i'd get rich like him.
